Relationships are like trees, going through stages of growth.
At the outset, there is excitement, there is discovery, there is fragility and playfulness.
The Awkward phase- accepting and adjusting to the environment and each others uniqueness. The roots start to take shape.
The Mature phase... there's comfort and understanding. There's acceptance not boredom and each season there's a newness. There is an awareness as its easy to take or be taken for granted. When the foundation is strong it blossoms and reaches great heights.....not familiarity or fettered branches but freedom to explore, spreading its shade and colour..... reaching for the sky yet firmly rooted!
