Ask the people in your sphere of influence what they require from you. Amongst family or friends misunderstandings often arise when there are expectations and/or standards not being met.
To resolve....get to the root cause of the issue not the surface content. The context is where the message lies and where issues will get cleared. We get so riled up and react to the content or its delivery, which only spirals into more unpleasantness.
