We don't like to experience pain or see our loved ones in pain. Physical pain is easier to deal with as the body heals remarkably fast.
Its the mental or emotional pain which can linger and get deeper if we don't open our eyes to it, accept it and experience what we are meant to. As a natural instinct we push it away....... making it go deeper.
Why don't we treat the mental pain the same as the physical one.....look at the injury and the cause, tend to it, soothe it and let nature and time take its course.
Its simple..... don't get stuck in mind games!
