Respect is a value engrained in all of us right from our early childhood. Respect for people, elders, money, things, time, environment etc. Most important of all and what wasn't that obvious is to learn to respect one self. This is not a creation coming from the ego but a respect that comes from love- it is strong yet compassionate, demanding yet accepting. This respect goes to the core of our being and of feeling worthy.
Take a moment to recollect all the situations where you felt that you respected yourself, also please consider all the situations where you disrespected yourself. How did these situations make you feel?
Respect for ourselves tunes us in to the divine rhythm and from it comes the respect for all .
